The Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP)
The Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP) targets individuals with exceptional skills and talents in specific industries. This program is designed for highly skilled professionals, researchers, and innovators with a track record of outstanding achievements.
Who is Eligible for the GTIP?
The following individuals are eligible for the Global Talent program:
- Those who are highly skilled in one of fields listed under the Minister’s defined sectors (or in a related sector); and
- Those who are currently earning, or are highly likely to earn at or above the Fair Work high income threshold
The eligible individuals can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to have their visa applications processed on priority, ahead of other applications.
